love is when someone makes you so happy you'd do anything to make them happy. no matter what it takes. seeing them smile makes you smile.
you don't have to be attracted to someone to love them. all you need is the person.
that person makes you so happy all day. or knowing you'll see them today, if that makes you happy. you love them. that's what it is for me.

love

love is something that can’t be defined. it’s a feeling people often describe as home, or butterflies, or an action such as sticking around someone.

love, however, is so indescribable that it’s wrong. love is something that is powerful, something that doesn’t end, no matter what. if you truly love someone, they will forever hold a piece of you even while you’re with another. they will stick around in your head for the rest of your life, no matter what.

you hope that you can let them go, but no matter what they always seem to stick around and you always seem to go back. love can hurt.

love can’t be past tense. even if that person is dead, or other things. you can’t just say “i loved them” because you still do if it was true. love is something that, again, never goes away. even if you think it does.

person one: “you need to let him go.”
person two: “i can’t. i love him”
