While the velocity of the muzzle is not indirectly congruent with the circumference of the bullet drop the velocity still allows for bullet drop to drop severe amounts of velocity.

In Fortnite Battle Royale Beta bullet drop severely effects many players each day.

Ex : Ryan - My crosshairs were right on him how didnt I hit him.

George - You have to account for the velocity of the bullet as it fires out the barrel of the sniper. This velocity drop is known as bullet drop.
