a composition of the beautiful Scandinavian name Ida and a dinosaur = saurus.

A rare species of dinosaur that was so busy trying to become the world leader of dinosaurs that it missed the asteroid that wiped out its fellow reptiles. It is believed that the Idasaurus evolved into modern humans.
