Deperipheralization 

A gesture which is used to create a barrier in the line of peripheral sight with the hand in order to indicate the subject being deperipheralized has said/done something incredibly asinine.

Kyle made a stupid comment in the meeting toady and all of the women in proximity to him used their paperwork to achieve Deperipheralization
