vänsterbliven

A Swedish derogatory term for people with socialist, communist, or radical leftist beliefs. It is commonly used on social media as an inslut most often by people who believe in conservative right-wing politics.

It's close resemblance to the Swedish word "efterbliven" (English: Retarded) may be attributed to its offensiveness.

Hela riksdagen är bara full av vänsterblivna människor som inte vet bättre än att höja skatterna.
