Similar to racism, a belief that all hipsters-or people that seem hip-posses the same characteristics or abilities.

Keyesa: Hey do you know (enter name)? She is super hip.
Steph: You are being so hipcist! Just because she is a hipster doesn't mean I know her.

Caitlin: You are such a hipster.
Unsuspecting NOT Hipster: Hey! Thats being hipcist. Just because I have glasses and wear scarves doen't mean I am a hipster!
