Someone who constantly has their mind set on hiking and on exploring new trails. Derived from the word roots of trail and maniac.

He's hardly ever at home. It seems like he is always out hiking new trails. Even at home he's got his walls covered in trail maps and photos from his trips. He's a real trailiac.
