Any female persons who can be found at festivals wearing bindis on their foreheads (fods).

I went to a hippy festival only to find I was surrounded by hundreds of foddesses!

A lot like the word 'pog/poggers' can we used to explain how cool something may be.
not to be mistaken with the food fed to domestic animals.
fodders can also be used as a slang term for food.

Person A : Do you think this game is fod?
Person B : Yes! very Fodders!
