Also used as a reminder of what our ancestors have all fought for and stood up for over thousands of years and to not allow their memory to be washed away so easily.

Taken from the Hindu scripture the 'Bhagavad Gita', Chapter 2 Verse 3: 'Do not yield to unmanliness, this is not worthy of you. Give up this base weakness of heart and arise!'

Not always used in a religious context, but for general uplifting of state of mind and attitude.
Person A: "You know, I'm not sure if I can do this, it seems a bit difficult.."
Person B: "This isn't difficult. You think it's difficult because you're scared. C2V3!"
