White Colonizer Syndrome 

Men or women who end up dating white people (mostly or almost exclusively) due to reasons including, but not limited to: conscious/subconscious social gain, self-hate for one’s culture, thinking that dating from one’s culture/ethnicity is like dating their sibling, etc. Is the equivalent of colonization at the level of romantic interest.

Jessica/James could never date within their culture/ethnicity - they have major white colonizer syndrome!
