Noun (kuh-peer-jays). Pajamas that a child has grown out of, but are still in their dresser because a. they’re the child’s favorite pair, b. the parent(s) haven’t replaced them or removed them for any number of reasons. Distinguished by pants being too short (I.e., like capris) and shirts being essentially belly shirts.
Babe, we’ve got to go shopping for kids clothes this weekend, Marshall has grown again and he’s now wearing caprijays.
