Straydar

noun, (stra-dahr): The unintentional ability to spot (or attract) stray or unaccompanied dogs or cats when driving, walking or during one's lunch hour, prompting the need to always have a leash and pet treats in the auto. This may also include the ability to become a magnet for lost pets that other people have found but are not sure what to do with them. There is no cure once one becomes afflicted with "straydar".
Natalie's straydar was really strong today; she found 3 stray animals in three different places as she was driving home from work!
