Lawrence

A blue-collar construction worker. Often seen with a mullet, mustache, gravely voice and bottle-opener key chain. Taken from a character in the movie Office Space (played by Diedrich Bader) who works "doin' the drywall up there at the new McDonald's."

"What's all that banging?"
"Oh, just a bunch of Lawrences building out the new office upstairs."

or

"Did you see that mullet on the Lawrence over there?"
"Yeah, he's here to fix the leaky roof."
