Believing a person (especially a performer) to be better or more talented than they actually are; commonly experienced by judges in the Idol franchise, particularly Paula Abdul of American Idol.

Paula Abdul on American Idol, judging a performance: "Just watching you, I just, I feel what you...you're just feeling such much joy from it, and it's exciting, I feel like one big goosebump, and I just am so excited for you, because, look at you - this is it for you, this is it for you, you're stellar."
