A friend who was once in a full-time committed relationship who always ditched his/her friends for his/her bf/gf. After the breakup a clingoff will usually reappear into their past circle of friends they once ditched and pretend like nothing is wrong!

'Hey guys! I'm back! What did I miss?'
'Like only... 6 months of inside jokes so you probably aren't going to understand anything we all say, oh and by the way when's my birthday?'
'Uh...'
'Wow look at you, you used to be the clingon and now you're the clingoff! Deuces'
