a deep, self-centered fear where someone, a group, a nation, or any powerful entity desires to be the only successful, powerful, and influential individual, group, nation and the like, actively resenting or fearing others' growth, success, or rise. It emphasizes not just wanting to be at the top, but actively fearing and disliking the idea of others sharing or surpassing that power
