Oin

Oin is the unpleasant taste of metal. Dental fillings taste like oin. If you have accidentally eaten aluminum foil or the effect of scraping a metal pan can have on food, you've tasted oin. Maximum oin is experienced when placing the terminals of a 9-volt battery to your tongue.

I accidentally licked the side of a quarter and now have to get this oin taste out of my mouth.
