Referring to any creative endeavor but esp cosplay:
- it doesn't have to be perfect
- it's okay to half-ass it
- it doesn't need to be accurate
- it's okay to use artistic liberties and make it your own
- modify it, but it, or make it: it doesn't matter as long as it gets the job done
- the ONLY thing that matters is that YOU feel good wearing your cosplay and YOU are having fun

"I was gonna go full canon with my Iron Man but I think I'll just Knightmage it from here"

"She's not too heavy to play that character, she's Knightmaging it perfectly"
