To repeatedly and intentionally lie, bullshit, exaggerate or tell make-believe fantasies in social settings in order to contribute or fit in. To jerz someone actually has a negative effect, as it contributes nothing, aggravates those present, and decreases group IQ, intelligence, and morale.

Non-jerzer: "Hey man, I have 2 dogs and they are sick"

Jerzer: "Oh that sucks. I have 24 champion bull terriers and they have AIDS"

Non-jerzer: "Shut the fuck up man. You jerzed me. Stop fucking lying and telling bullshit just to hear yourself talk"
