Good licks

An expression used mainly in the late 17th century to convey surprise, or other related emotions. Interchangeable with “way cool” in today's society.
Tom Sawyer: "What you got there?"
Huck Finn: "Dead cat."
Tom Sawyer: "Good licks, let me see!"
