grull 

The audible rising of air getting stuck in your throat before you burp, especially noticeable if you have your mouth open. i.e. pre-burp. Happens mostly while yawning. Usually sounds like a goblin, or an old lady groaning, and ends in a slight gurgle.

I was trying not to burp at the table during our first date, but I couldn't keep the grull from being heard.
