Re-sharing a post on your instagram story for “charity”. 1 story re-share equals $1 donated to said charity. Frequent users of this term almost exclusively include white girls that feel as if posting this is truly making a difference. The word has an almost chain like reaction, and if one white girl posts it, you best believe all of her friends will too.
Brittany: OMG Tanja, did you see what Sarah re-shared on her story about pollution?????
Tanja: Well, we better re-share it too. I don’t want people to think I don’t care about the environment
