The spirit of a royal figure (ladya, tora) who is as dignified, handsome, beautiful as a generation of kings, or in chess. According to legend, when Amir Timur was playing chess, he heard that his son was born and named him Shohrux (Shokhrukh). Also, Rukh is defined as ghost in many languages and might Shokhrukh might sound as the king of ghost.
