insecure humor
Humor lacking both sense and construction. Often used by people who feel too insecure to make regular, constructed jokes. This form of comedy is widely regarded as unfunny and merely a expression of the comedians own insecurities. Frequently referred to by proprietors and observers alike as "random" for lack of a more concrete or accurate description.
