this word refers to a pair of people, usually girl and boy, who are or have become a couple, item, or as many would just say, girlfriend and boyfriend. can be promounced like gifbif or jifbif, whatever id prefered.

yeah did u hear about jenny and mike? thats right, theyre gifbifs now.
