The act of betraying a promise in a retarded way. To fail at something you said you would fulfill because of a weak excuse.

J- "Hey it's been over an hour is Zach coming through or what?"
S- "I think he betarded, he texted me something about getting dinner, but yesterday he said he was home alone and would come through."
