an expression of the lacklustre and unremarkable, not to mention boring, qualities of a person, thing or event.

if a thing is dundry it is vilely dull & lacks atmosphere.
that documentary on the history of tarmac that i foretold would be gripping was, in fact, thoroughly dundry.

i am meant to be going for a hot lunch with clive from accounts today but he is such a dundry beast i dont think i can bear it.
