Carney

1. When you put glitter on an old heap of shit and people are SUPER impressed because they think they're getting something new.. when really, it's the same shit under the glitter.
2. a slight of hand to create an illusion of something new and exciting.

You have something that's damaged and not functional and you have to get it ready for a quick sale, you can say, "Let's Carney it!"
and after a successful transaction, exclaim, "Oh snap!! those fools just got Carnied!"
