Asnide 

Portmanteau of ‘aside’ and ‘snide’, describing a short rejoinder meant—often successfully—to be particularly cutting. Coined to describe a New York Times reporter reacting to comments criticizing him for platforming someone who posted CSAM with flippant remarks.

“ And not just glossing over it, it’s like he’s at that centrist conference running around showing people his little asnides to people on that damned Bluesky.”
