1. a funnel-shaped object which, as matter passes through it's base, makes a sound analogous to a
kazoo. In myth, leprechauns are said to travel through an infundibulum to reach the other end of the rainbow.
2. a vestigial organ which develops in humans upon the completion of a doctorate in English. Although not confirmed, it has been hypothesized that this organ is used for general insertion and storage.
