Sporadic period of heightened sexual activity conducted by a girl who fluctuates between abstinence and sluttiness. This girl may often imply that she is a virgin when she is dormant.

Mike: Oh my God, did you hear that Kelsey just got it on with five guys this week?

John: Yeah, sounds like she's in the midst of a slut spurt.
