IFB 

A listening device, regularly used by TV news or talk show moderators, that provides the moderator with a steady stream of audio guidance from the show's producer.

In this usage, the letters IFB refer to "Interference-Free Band", which is the wireless communications band over which such devices operate.

Example:

When responding to a claim made by a white house representative Chris Cuomo said, adjusting his earpiece: “That blew the IFB right out of my head.”
