The Hamilton Pivot 

When someone is drinking high quality alcohol all night, and then chooses to drink something of significantly lesser quality to end of the night.

The name is derived from the town of Hamilton, Ontario, a city one hour removed from Toronto, Ontario.

We were drinking shots of Patrón for hours, and then this guy pulled The Hamilton Pivot. Ordered a round of Jim Beam, and then went right home.
