havolutionary

(adj.) Describing an entity (especially an AI system) that does not merely undergo evolution as a process, but inherently possesses evolution as a core, self-sustaining property. Beyond "evolutionary" systems that adapt via external inputs or human guidance, a havolutionary system owns its capacity for autonomous, closed-loop self-improvement and meta-level transformation.
Current frontier models are still evolutionary — they improve with more data and fine-tuning. But once an AI starts rewriting its own objectives and architecture without human intervention, it's truly havolutionary — evolution isn't something it does; it's something it has.

In the post-AGI era, we're entering the havolutionary phase: systems that have built-in, intrinsic evolvability, making traditional alignment obsolete.
