chopper

1) a souped-up motorcycle, which may or may not have been modified from its factory condition.

2) a helicopter. Any kind of helicopter -- military, police/emergency, media (news), or civilian.

1) A classic example of a "chopper" motorcycle is the one ridden by Peter Fonda in the movie "Easy Rider", which was emblazoned with a design of the American flag.

2) I saw a chopper (helicopter) come to airlift the injured person from the scene of the accident to the hospital.
