AMD, or Advanced Micro Devices, is a company most notably known for their Athlon and Ryzen series processors and Radeon graphics cards. Founded in 1969, they originally manufactured processors for their Intel, before splitting and creating their own processors (Athlon, Duron, FX(bulldozer),Ryzen) and their own x64 bit architecture.
