jaying someone up

The act of calling out someone's name when they are the perfect distance so that they can hear you but they won't know who did it. This may also be done from a car by yelling "MA'AM' or 'SIR". When and if you get someone good it's quite hilarious. This was started in Keller, Texas.

*Man walking down the street* (you and your bro in your car) "SIR" *man looks around in confusement*
