A bullshit detector. Internal compass that tells you when someone/something is full of crap and not to be believed.

Bob: "Jim said he went to the party and they had 50 kegs and 4000 naked women who all wanted to sleep with him."
Bill: "Yeah, about that, my noxometer is going apeshit."
Bob: "I kinda figured he was full of shit too."
