A toxicity lemming is someone who acts toxic in a public space, particularly social media, simply because other people are also being toxic. They're a lemming falling off the cliff of toxicity. Especially relevant to politics.

"Ugh, Richard is such a toxicity lemming. Once Dan started getting shitty, Richard did too."
