A date that takes place during lunch time, typically in a corporate setting between two people working in close geographic proximity. There is an element of romance as in an ordinary date, but in a less formal manner

Stef and I had a lunch date on Tuesday. We went to Centre Place and had a sandwich and chatted. There was a lot of flirting going on. I wonder if she will come with me on another lunch date?
