When one of your friends is about to do, say, or think something and your wife tells you to stop him or that you and he are not going to be doing that.

Bob: "Hey Mike, let go to the bar on saturday and catch the games."
Mike's Wife (to Mike): "You better tell him you have plans and you are spending your time with the family."
Mike: "aaaaaaaaaaah"
Bob: "Dude, I just got wife-aranged."
