Aftreen

A period in young adulthood where someone is in their late teens or early twenties and exhibits both adolescent and emerging adulthood qualities. Could start roughly around ages 17-20 and end around ages 23-25. (depending on the person)

Some examples in this stage include college, identity formation, graduation, emotion impulsivity and growth, independence formation.

(Combination of the word "After" and "Teen")

"I walked onto the campus of my old college and suddenly felt like I was in my aftreen years again."

"The new clothing brand down the street markets towards aftreens."
