A mental condition in which a person has been driven effectively irrational due to their dislike of the Boruto series, causing them to abandon logic and rely entirely on outdated takes, selective memory, and secondhand opinions about Boruto: Naruto Next Generations and Boruto: Two Blue Vortex. Individuals with BDS will confidently label everything as “filler,” deny any character or plot progression, and ignore canon material, all while refusing to engage with anything that contradicts their narrative.
Whenever the series gets mentioned, he goes on a rant about how Boruto is “still the same trash,” then immediately reveals he hasn’t watched or read it since the early days. At that point, it’s not criticism - it’s Boruto Derangement Syndrome (BDS).
