wallow-out

A period of reflection a moment when you think back on past experiences and learn from it, acknowledging the fact and moving on from there, when you've reached the point that doing anything further is irrelevant and it's time to pick up, dust off and get at it.

"I've had my time to wallow-out, now I need to get moving"
"This self-wallowing has left me drained, I'm so done with it"
