A 'cycle' route, often claiming to be part of the National Cycle Network (UK), that is likely to be inaccessible due to potholes, flooding, or the simple nature of it being set through an overgrown stream or field.

I would've learned to check route planner suggestions and avoid getting sustrans-ed by now.
