That part of when you're dating someone and you're basically behaving as if you're already in a relationship but no one has really said or agreed about anything. Can be polyamorous or monogamous.
"We were just, like, dating, and then we were being like, boyfriend-girlfriend about it like we were in a datelationship? But now we're in a relationship for reals."
