signal to noise ratio

the ratio of signal to noise in decibels (dB).

A postitive signal to noise ratio means the signal is louder than the noise. A negative signal to noise ratio means the noise is louder than the signal. Typically, the signal is speech, music, or whatever sound is being listened for.

bling-bling

wealth, usually in the form of jewelry or flashy merchandise; can also be used to indicate money

Steve: That is some nice bling-bling you have hanging around your neck.
Bob: Thank you. I bought this neck chain yesterday.
