NAP (Narrative Aversion Point)
The point in a show, book, or game where emotional fallout from a plot event or change creates aversion to continuing.
This exists on a spectrum: a Soft NAP is a temporary pause to process heartbreak where you may return later, while a Hard NAP is a permanent stop because your connection to the story broke. Triggers include character deaths, recast leads, tone shifts, or broken ships.
