When a parking space seems empty, and you think you found your spot. Only to find out it is not, but has a tiny car or motorcycle in it.

I thought I found a great parking space, but it turned out to be a Pirage and I had to park far away.

When someone is given a promotion so that their boss can get rid of them without having to fire them

That guy given a depromotion and now he is a supervisor because he could not handle doing the work.
