Wokeness is a socio-digital phenomenon where superficial, well-intentioned moral assumptions are isolated from rational critique by a class of moral purists. These enforcers interpret any counterargument as a direct offense, defining it as oppressive, bigoted, or unacceptable to leave no space for rational discourse. This results in a state of social inertia and scrupulosity that prioritizes virtue signaling over effective problem-solving.
